Dear Neighbors,
The original Annual Meeting Notification letter was misquoted. It should have read…
“We must obtain your voted permission to negotiate with the seller on this property. His asking price is $200,000.00.”
The HOA Board never intended to pay the asking price. We do not have that kind of authority. We are merely your acting representatives. We can only legally negotiate on your behalf with your voted on permission. All are welcome to join in this negotiating process, provided this proposal passes next week.

Dear Neighbors,
I’m so thankful to have neighbors who are seeking further involvement in the decision-making processes of our neighborhood. That is awesome!
I want to make several clarifications as the wording of the letter notifying you of the annual meeting has created some confusion. Since this issue is our neighborhood’s first big group decision, I wanted to be sure everyone is clear on what is being proposed.
First, this is a PROPOSAL to our neighborhood to purchase land at the corner of S. Salem St. and Apex-Barbeque Road (this backs up to the entrance/pool area of WHM). The seller has approached WHM thinking that we would have greatest interest in what happens with the property…

This event will be on Saturday, May 12th with a rain date of Saturday May 19th.
There are many neighbors that have listed their house for sale so we will show support of them by having Open Houses simultaneous to our Yard Sales resulting in increased traffic. If you are interested in doing this, please let April Roberts know and she can coordinate with you and your realtor specifically on this for advertising, etc… Also, we are in need of an artistic person that can help with posters and signs the week prior to this event. Please let April Roberts know if you can help.

Thursday May 17th is ladies night out for all of the women in our neighborhood! We will all meet for dinner and some great social time at 6:30p. The venue is to be determined depending on how many respond but we will stay in Apex. Please RSVP by Friday, May 11th to let our Social Committee Chair, April Roberts, know if you plan to attend.

The pool is opening on Saturday, May 19th.
A pool party is scheduled for Saturday, June 9th at noon. In the event of rain, the alternate date is scheduled for Saturday, Jun 16th.
